Heading for the next incident

Due to not actually having an ambulance Dan and Rachael decide to carry everything possible for every eventuality!

This afternoon saw the potential trauma management folk facing a variety of interesting scenarios to test our skills.

It helps bring the whole thing to life and a bit of realism to the situation.

Pleased to say that all 10 of us on the course passed. I'm pleased that we did as the last two trauma courses round here had a 100% failure rate. It's not an easy course to do. You need very good basic first aid skills and then the ability to change how you do things to cope with new equipment and a higher expectation of patient care.

Now we have a good grasp of the new skills we need to refine them through practice.
