Artist Statement:

In the city that never sleeps, there are always places where light falls but no one looks. This image is part of a broader inquiry into the aesthetics of authority and the erasure of presence. Who gets remembered? Who disappears? This moment — the frozen light, the nylon folds, the reflection in glass — is not about law or justice. It’s about the spaces left behind.
