take the plunge

an old dredge pond just outside dawson city makes for a unique swimming hole...these ponds are many as you enter from the south and have become a distinctive feature of the landscape here, echoing the gold rush history...some still have decaying dredges in them

 

not quite a polar bear plunge but damn close
