On occasion, I like to revisit an image using post-processing techniques I've learned since the first version was made. Normally, I'd choose to reshoot a scene, but I just don't get to Maine all that often.
Flagstaff Lake Sunrise was always one of my favorite captures, but when I saw it as a 20x30 print, I thought that version was rather light and hazy, so I decided to work it again. This is the result, which I think is more vivid, with better contrast and impact, and more 'painterly', which is exactly what I'm going for.
