Backwater Grasses - 3083
I was setup for shooting wildlife so all I had was my super telephoto 200/500 lens. However there was a shortage of wildlife (like none).
I started to shoot various landscape elements, zooming out to 200mm and framing subjects. This particular image I shot close to the water.
This is one of the reasons I like the fully articulated screen on the D5300. I can actually get the camera low to the ground (in this case the lake) and still be able to see and frame my subject. A bit of an experiment, but boredom is a great inspiration for trying different things with what you have. Why waste the opportunity?
