Lost Terminus, in the Sun..

Taken in about 1980

The ex-North London Railway Broad Street terminus, seen from Liverpool Street, on a bright sunny day in around 1980.. The entrance to Liverpool Street station can just be seen, on the right..

Broad Street station had been run down for many years, and finally closed in June 1986, and was demolished and replaced by the ‘Broadgate’ office complex, which itself has been redeveloped in recent years..

Original slide - property of Robert Gadsdon
