1959 - 2MT By the Woodpile..
Taken on March 1st 1959
Push-pull fitted ex-LMS/BR Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T 41328 at Bond End Wharf in the watery sun, during the LCGB 'Burton Area Rail Tour' in March 1959.
The loco was withdrawn in June 1964, and scrapped in December. Four examples have been preserved..
Today (2023) a main road runs through here, with a petrol station and supermarket....
