The loco had entered service in September 1958, and was withdrawn in September 1968, and scrapped in December 1969. None of the class were preserved..
Stratford shed finally closed down in 1997, and today (2022) all traces have vanished, and this is the site of the 2012 Olympic complex, and 'Stratford International' station, and various retail outlets...
