6/19/08: Day 195 Tummy Tuck Day 50: Swimsuit-ready!
Wow – has it been only 7 weeks? I feel like it was a lifetime ago now!
As of a couple of weeks ago, I am feeling almost completely healed. I will sometimes bend or stretch certain ways and my body gently reminds me that I had major surgery not long ago, but otherwise, I don’t feel any sort of discomfort anymore. I am still slightly numb in the strip from my breastbone to my pubic bone, but nothing that is weird or uncomfortable.
I have slept on my belly a few times now. It didn’t last long, but I did it, which makes me happy!
I will be traveling to Phoenix for work in a month, and – for the first time in 3.5 years – feel swimsuit-ready.
