Maxwell / Jones House

1541 N. 4th. St., Abilene, Texas: Architectural Description:

 

This is a 2-story, 7-bay domestic building in the Federal style with Georgian influences built in 1920. The structural system is frame. Exterior walls are original brick. The building has a high hip roof clad in replacement asphalt shingles with box cornice. Windows are original wood, 16/16 double-hung sashes.
