Greased Lightning

There was a HUGE lightning storm the other night (duh, you can see it from the pic... Sigh... good descriptions are my specialty. anyways). It started about a half hour before sunset and just kept coming. I grabbed my keys once it got dark enough for some 5-10 second exposures and zoomed out to an abandoned neighborhood to pose my car in front of it.

 

As you can see, it worked.

 

I can't believe it worked.

 

I love New Mexico.
