As Good As It Gets

In the last 9+ years of living in the area, I've been fortunate to get a handful of shots on this picturesque bridge over the Redwood River at North Redwood, MN. With infrequent and unpredictable operations on the line, you have to take what you can get. I'm glad I have has many pictures of them as I do, but many of them are in less than ideal conditions. Finally, everything lined up perfectly on this morning to get an eastbound on the bridge in calm, clear weather. Even better, the train had three locomotives, including the railroad's two former Kennecott Copper GP39-2s and the CAT powered RRVW 2053. A huge thank you to my friend Andrew for giving me a heads up that the train was coming from Delhi, or I would've missed it. I don't think I'll ever do much better than this again!
