Gray day at Toimi
We spent our family vacation in Grand Marais and at Camp House near Brimson. I prioritized time with family over chasing trains, but made one trip to the famed Toimi overpass to see the 5:00 a.m. North Shore Mining loads one morning. The sun was out until about 10 minutes before the train arrived. Still, I can't complain about seeing 3 SD40-2's instead of the newer power the railroad also uses on these trains.
