Eucalyptus pods.
These are the pods from a Gum tree, that fall to the ground, and are just like solid wood.!!!
Found these in an Adelaide park. There are several types of Eucalyptus trees, and am not sure what type of tree these came from. Its just that I kept them, as they are a bit different from the more common Gum tree. And put the leaves from my Gum tree, that is in the back corner of my back yard for a better display.
My tree is kept short, as they have a habit of falling down or dropping boughs if left to grow too big.!!!
