Pluteus chrysophaeus pileipellis
This is a very typical pileilellis cross-section for this species.
I'm posting this for comparison with the mystery super-bright little Pluteus which keys out as P. chrysophaus but lacks any brown tones (the phaeo- in the Latin name stands for brown). The difference is apparent. The two species also differ in abundance and shape of pleurocystidia.
