This is my review of the Rebels Imperial Troop Transport MOC by Rob van Leeuwen.
Total points = [87/100] π
The first time I saw this MOC on Brickvault, I loved it π! Not even so much for its troop transporter, but more for the very detailed cargo version.
Yes, this MOC contains a standard version (312 steps), cargo conversion (+19 steps) as well as all the cargo parts (+56 steps).
The proportions are different from the original design; Robβs MOC is more like a 'lowrider' version and this gives it a π look & feel.
The shape has a beautiful usage of parts and fits 8 troopers inside as well as 6 troopers in the exterior pods.
If I had something to complain about, it would be the hull side panes. They are attached with technic pins, and they tend to rotate outwards (see 5th pic). I tried to change the 3L pins, but it did not resolve the issue πͺ.
Still, if you are not actually playing with the MOC, it should not be an issue π. So go and check it out.
