"Hell manifests in myriad ways. In this exhibition, nine artists present their visions of perdition implicating institutions ranging from family and religion to bureaucracies within governments and corporations. The artwork articulates a set of absurdities and anxieties such as paranoia, loneliness and resignation - but a few examples propagated by the establishment. As artists, in Hell, we invite you to join us in acknowledging forms of institutional violence often left unexamined in these questionable times."
