I recently had Bruce (my Surly Wednesday) tuned at Black Saddle Bike Shop because I knew that once the snow came down in more than a dusting I'd be turning in my Midnight Special for the season.
Fast forward to Tuesday the 9th when Madison received its first significant snowfall since a rare late March snowstorm last year.
It was great to be able to commute to work in the snow (even if we didn't get nearly as much as originally ordered), after resting for a bit at home I saw the giant snowflakes outside my window and knew I had to go get the customary first snow fat bike pictures. With winds gusting at 20mph+ and snow pelting my face it was a pure moment of winter time bliss.
This is fat biking.
