I knew from the moment I saw the photo posted by @aperatureadventures from a photo walk earlier this year, that I immediately recognized Jeff from a previous interaction dating back to September of 2014. I've been keeping my eyes open for him out and about on my photo walks without luck since, as fate may have it, we crossed paths outside the Walgreens on the square. I quickly pulled up the picture on my phone of him from 2014, and it brought a huge smile to his face that I would remember him from so long ago. I often remember many of the people I photograph for some reason, they always seem to leave their mark on me.
We chuckled and caught up like old friends so I told him the next time I saw him I would buy whatever sub he wanted after all. That's all he was requesting back in the day when I first met him, and I have yet to hold up my end of the bargain. Of course I requested to take a new portrait to catch up with those who may have read my initial write up all those years ago. Today he wore a purple jacket on a cold March afternoon, compared to the shorts and hoodie on a mild September day.
