Keeping with the trend of unique people in Madison I've come across in the last fourteen years, I introduce Liu. When I met him in May of 2014, he hadn't the slightest thought of painting a mattress, and was working at Parthenon's on State. Now he's a bit of a local celebrity known for his amazing mural work and beautiful pieces on discarded mattresses going by none other than Triangulador
We crossed paths on the way back from a ride downtown, and instead of heading home we made our way around the isthmus making small talk about life and all the interesting coincidences in it. Although I did not include his face in the updated "portrait," I took it on this day. I felt that it gave a sense of association and appreciation to his work with his custom jacket.
