Timothy
After picking up some prints from the Camera Company on the square I was approached by a very happy soul. As I had a couple of photographs of strangers in my bag, I shared the photos with the man and expressed my interest in taking his photograph. He agreed quite quickly and easily, though he was full of both motion and emotion. This made for a challenge to get a good photo, I like to capture subjects as they are but find it hard to fully do so when they're constantly moving. The man, who I learned was named Timothy or Tim; gave me a big smile on multiple occasions but I couldn't seem to get him in focus. I adjusted some settings, in order for a faster shutter speed then clicked a few more. I learned while taking Timothy's photo that he likes to take photos too, and he has camera's he wants to get rid of. Unfortunately for Tim, he missed the deadline last week to trade gear in so I wish him the best in finding someone to sell the equipment too. Before we parted ways, he asked how he could get his photo big like the ones in my bag; I had given a card to his friend (Henry) so that I can get them their pictures. Upon this being the final day of April has been a productive month for me in the search for 100 strangers and I suggest that you too take up this great project! You never know who you'll meet, and what kind of stories you'll get as well.
