The Potter and Clay
Genesis teaches us that God moulded humans out of the ground and made us in his own image.
Since then, we have tried to add our own designs and by our sin we have drifted further from God.
Yet God loves us. He promises us that he will take our lives and mould us. The prophet Isaiah said:
Yet, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
Put on the earphones and listen to the song. Pick up a piece of clay and mould it as you imagine God moulding you into ‘a work of his hand’.
Make something with the clay that represents to you the work God is doing in your life.
