Daddy Bluebird
I believe my male Eastern Bluebird of two seasons has returned with a new mate. He was gone for a couple of months after a neighbor's cat caught Mama. He landed on an ash tray that I used to feed them mealworms, I don't believe any other bluebird would associate that with food. There were three male bluebirds and a female with this bird in the back yard. I went out on the patio to shoot some pics and three of the males flew away. This one stayed and didn't fly after I talked to him like I used to when I placed worms in the feeder. He was obviously showing the nestbox to the female. Both went inside. It looks like Daddy has returned.
