Mess Hall Mess
Set off 8 am on Sunday morning to explore an old abandoned summer camp out in the middle of nowhere. After a 10 minute trek from the road, the first traces of the camp appeared. Cabins, activity huts and other decaying goodness as far as the eye could see. About 8 shots in, a angry man with a beard and riding lawnmower chased us off the property with his "outdoor voice" and whirling, grass cutting blades. Gutted for sure as we'd only been privy to 1/5 of the camp at this point.
Our fearless leader whipped out a Plan B and lead us down the road about 10 mins to an abandoned house exploding with colour and bad wallpaper. All was redeemed, great shots were got and the four of us were on the road home with an entire afternoon open to new possibilities! (I used mine to nap)
