GYMSHARK
This awesomely ripped body belongs to my good friend/classmate from the old times. We used to sit&disturb together in math class. He was skinny back then. Today I have finally, after some years, chance to spent a few hours with him. He became quite a GYMSHARK. I became bald. Great.
Strobist/mindset info: I knew I want to shoot on pure white background, but with pretty crispy and contrasty light, something steel-sculpure-heroic. So I've used a Profoto PRO81 head with a gridded zoom reflector up high, as a key- it's pretty hard light and it brings up all the muscle structure, which was super-important to us. As a background light I've used two profoto PRO41 heads, one from each side, with softbox and beauty dish (one of each, because I don't have two same modifiers:) key was to carefully flag the background lights so they affect the background and reflect just right amount of the light back, to act as a rim light.
And a camera? Awesome Fuji X100! :)
