the very first and only experiments i did with microwaves. i figured they are not usable for much more than blocking wireless lans and of course heating food ;-) by the way, if you need a (relatively) low power and not so dangerous microwave source, attach the magnetron to a diode split transformer out of an old monitor or tv. this gives about 10-20 watts of power (need to heat the filament with 3 v / 11 amps though)
