Firetruck on the Mountain
So the other night when I was out hiking Koko Head with my cousin there were a group of guys and one of them was suffering from what looked like extreme exhaustion or dehydration (probably both) and as a result emergency had to be called. On scene were a large number of firetrucks, a few ambulances, along with rescue air one. Much Mahalo to the firefighters who had to haul gear up to about the 900 step area to assist them and everyone else who had to respond at nearly 11pm at night. Unfortunately I was not able to capture a picture of the helicopter which eventually landed in the park for a brief moment.
Everyone remember to keep safe, stay hydrated, and take it at a manageable pace especially while hiking at night.
