Just a Little Help Bag - Maggie, President Russell and Kasun show how it’s done for a publicity shot
There are many instances in which women and children arrive at the refuge basically with only the clothes they are wearing and without the financial means to purchase urgently needed items.
The Club’s response was to make available “Just a Little Help Bag”.
With the generous support of companies including the ANZ Bank, Bonds and Johnson & Johnson, these support parcels ensure that people are helped in an atmosphere of respect and dignity at a very vulnerable time.
Since launching this as a pilot program just before Christmas, the Club has had the reward of a heartfelt note of thanks from one of the recipients.
