Pere Lachase

Père-Lachaise in Paris is a very well known and famous landmark cemetery. I felt a bit odd as I had never photographed in a cemetery before. I walked around and found myself noticing that it reminded me of many of the streets I had been walking on in Paris. A different set of homes for sure but it felt familiar and different at the same time.

This hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel 55981 Black, Bistre, and a dash of Sanguine inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 8 numbered prints, and 3 A/P prints
