Trackday Panning practice
Another day of practicing panning shots. First time attempting this on motorcycles during a trackday at the TT circuit in Assen The Netherlands. Given the fact that motorcycles are smaller then cars you have an advantage and a disadvantage. Smaller in length makes the deviation in focus front to back smaller when not shooting perpendicular to the axis of movement. But smaller also means more focal length is needed which makes it harder. This one was shot at 500mm handheld with 1/80sec shutterspeed.
