Enchantment

Portugal doesn’t have the majestic waterfalls that impressed me so much in Iceland, but it does have some whose small dimension is more than compensated by their charm and enchantment. This is such a case, located quite close to Lisbon (Sintra area).

 

Taking this shot was quite challenging, due to the extreme light conditions, with severe highlights and deep shadows present on the scene.
