Looking For Paradise? Look No Further!
This lagoon, an idyllic place known as "Lagoa das Patas", is formed by several waterfalls that go all around it. It is an amazingly beautiful place, with little signs of human presence and where silence reigns, only broken by the soft murmur of the falling water.

Flores Island is the westernmost island of the Azores archipelago. It is, as well, its most beautiful one. With an area of 143 km2 and 4.000 inhabitants it has a verdant landscape of rolling hills, deep valleys, crater lakes bordered by hydrangeas, high peaks, magnificent waterfalls and monolithic sea cliffs.
Flores has been included on UNESCO’s list of World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
Peace, rest and contact with nature are the keywords that better describe this magnificent island.
Here you can expect to live with the melodious sound of running water from crystal-clear streams, colourful hydrangeas winding over hills, petrified basalt, refreshing lakes, small white houses perched on green slopes. All these are defining features of Flores: a garden floating on the Atlantic Ocean!
