I ventured out with hubby into the deep blue yesterday, much further than we expected, way beyond where the ships anchored waiting to come into port. Luckily the sea was reasonably calm considering the howling wind we've been experiencing. This was taken just after 4-30 am at a reef where the ski boats stop to catch live bait, from there everyone goes their separate way.
Yesterday would have been the perfect day to take the DSLR out, but I'm reluctant to chance it in case the sea is rough and the ski boat, us and the camera takes a good pounding.
