Raising the bar!
Speeding toward 'hill 2'
Some technical stuff: By applying an even pressure to the speedbar, the lines on the front risers are pulled down, decreasing the angle of attack of the wing, and thus making it fly faster. The trade off is that the rate of descent also increases, however the knack is to apply just so much as is needed, so that distance covered horizontally, outweighs the heigh loss and you reach your goal. In this case, the goal is the ridgeline directly ahead and right, about halfway up. Once reached, it is possible to soar the dynamic lift all the way to the top of the hill. In case you are wondering; yes I made it!
