Mikey says: Consigned to the book of history, this is now one of the main entrances to the Arndale Shopping Centre, the bus station closed after the IRA bomb on Saturday 15th June 1996. This however is still in existence and fully functional with loads of GM Standards and Mancunians (ex- Manchester City Transport and SELNEC PTE buses from 1968-1972) running to and from this (once) iconic station......in MY ideal world that is (not in reality....Sadly!)

Mikey says: Preserved GM Standard Fleetline, seen in Blackburn, Lancashire. All that needs to complete the restoration would be the blinds and (if it's not there already) a Clipper Card machine. Nethertheless, they would be back on Greater Manchester's streets under my rule!
