My 1:150 LEGO model of the Independence Monument (Монумент Незалежності) in Kyiv, Ukraine. Built in a mixture of Ukrainian Baroque and Empire Style, this monument was erected in 2001 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ukrainian independence. Located right on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, it has been at the heart of many pivot points in recent Ukrainian history.
