Backwaters at Chunnambar

This is a view of the Chunnambar backwaters which is located 8 kms from Pondicherry on the Cuddalore highway. The vast expanse of the river and the sea stretches far and wide and exposes the river and sea beaches on islands created by sea and the river. The seaside beach here is known as "Plage Paradiso" and is located at the mouth of the backwater.
