Light through Hailstorm

I took this image while my wife and I walked the circumference of Holy Island in Northumberland, to say the weather was dramatic is an understatement we had never seen such black skies and violent hail storms.

The area of light in the center is actually a form of rainbow and needless to say I will post a color version soon.

I have tried and hope I have captured the mood created by the wonderfully powerful light.

I hope you enjoy viewing the image as much as I did trying to capture it.

As always I really value your feedback on whether the image works for you or if it's too minimalist etc.
