Always Trust The Signals
The last I saw of this train, it was rolling over the CN/CP flyover in Genoa, IL I stopped outside of Genoa to grab the Eastbound Ethanol train this guy was meeting at Colvin Park. I thought this was MILES ahead of me, until I checked the signals to my rear, and about a 1/4 mile away (checked via 200mm zoom lens) and found it was Green. A little reassuring phone call to Gerry Dobey, and I decided to be patient and wait probably close to 25+ minutes for this guy to come out of Rockford. Here it is about to pass under the Kelley Rd overpass between Rockford and Freeport.
