Six Feet Under....

Actually EIGHT. A section of a recreation trail in George Wyth State Park on the border between Waterloo and Cedar Falls Iowa, had at least eight feet of water over it, by the flood debris hanging in the trees. I am six feet tall and it was at least two - three feet above my head. Most of the trails are opened, but a thin coating of mud, and now fallen leaves makes it only passible to Mnt Bikes and pedestrians. I tried riding a section with a road bike and within a few hundred yards mud was jammed between my wheels and brake calipers basically locking up my wheels. Getting out of the mud zone with my road bike required about 6 stops to clear debris, and a removal of front wheel and removing the goo jammed into my brakes.
