Imperial Age (Fourth Age)

When men got the idea they were blessed beyond measure or 'holier than thou' they got the idea they should conquer the world to unite it and share their greatness with all. However it turned into nothing more than selfish gain, they wanted to control the world they found and discovered believing the other tribes were primitive and needed authority over them. Freedom was a concept never known even in the prime age, most lived by a certain ruling that barred the idea of individuality and allowance for having different views of things. Empires as early as the Akkadian empire or the Egyptian empire, empires allowed construction of advanced buildings and engineering for advancing their civilization beyond all. Empires ruled in dynasties which spanned a millennium of rule or two before their empire was overrun by a new and more powerful one. Emperors had this idea they were gods amongst men causing some to believe they were angels come to the earth to rule amongst mortals. Empires formed society which formed a pyramid of ranks like the military. The highest rank in society was the emperor, below him was the chancellor, below the chancellor was the senate, below the senate were the nobles, below the nobles were the malitia, below the malitia were the servants, below the servants were the guards, below the guards were the common folk, below the common folk were the slaves and below the slaves were the beggars. Such segragation would echo across the next two ages, this was a time when mankind became haughty and indifferent. In the post-Eon of Mankind that was this age, Empires rode forth to try and change civilizations even reform the culture of different lands to their standards. Eventually the celts who were suddenly scattered across Europe helped to shrink the roman military, the gauls 'aka' goths from Eastern Europe rode in to smite the roman's for their greed, insanity and haughty indifference. Christianity rose up at the dusk of the imperial age after a man named Jesus Christ taught people who desired a more peaceful and loving world. The roman's were too traditional and prideful to accept the early christians so they had Jesus crucified and the Christians persecuted. Yet as rome fell to the ride of the gothic mantle and the sword of death believed to be given by their god of death or as Christians called it 'the sword of Sariel, the angel of death.' The aztecs were but a savage tribe of people who overthrew the toltecs and took their capital now present day mexico city, the aztecs were only defeated by white men. The Incans also rose up as they became the quicker learning tribe of south america, but their empire was ended by their foolishness when white man came. Empires created a legion to make certain their empire would never fall and that all would run in fear before their mighty malitia. The normans came to Europe bringing worry to the romans about their empire being taken over by an empire from the east. The germans did create a land mass of their own but made it into a kingdom instead of an empire. The romans found sporting events like chariot races, arena battles and colloseum events; the greeks were the founders of discus, gymnastics, ball sports, horse races and hurdling. Also in this age was the creation of theatre, tragedies, comedies and epics. Empires segregated their people for reasons they were not of thier people, nor within their empire or even one of them, this became the very thing that would cause problems socially in our future. The imperial age was ended.
