Smoking Homeless Man Talking
This photo was taken on tri-x with I believe a pentax ME or MX around 1979 in New York City outside Central Park somewhere about 65th-70th street. I didn't keep very good records when I was in college so I don't remember all the details. Its interesting to look at the photo to see how much dirtier NYC was then and the different clothing styles. Its also interesting to note the paper bag are the belongings of the homeless man. Today most homeless people have shopping carts filled with stuff. I remember my teacher at Brooklyn College Robert D'Allesandro(a great photographer if you google him) kept telling me to do more burning. Scanning software and photoshop make it all a lot easier now.
