And yet, another magnificent sunset on the LaSals

Like I said, it was like this every day.

I didn't know where to stand. So I spent the first day just driving around from end to end of the park roads, so I could see what the light was doing at different times of the day. Then I came back on subsequent days to image.

This is the best time to image these formation, IMO, as the sun is lowest on the horizon.

The lenticular cloiuds on this day were fab - I'll have BW image to show the texture better.

This was imaged from the Petrified Dunes viewpoint
