This couple in the canoe and me in my kayak had the whole lake to ourselves that morning. It pays to get up early when everyone would rather sleep in. Our smiles were palpable. The way I figure it is I can sleep in when I'm dead. Apparently, he made his canoe and wanted me to send him a photo. I sent one that was a close up of his craftsmanship.
