On Being A Mom

This is one of my favorite shots of daily raccoon life. Raccoon moms raise their kids alone. This mom brings her babies during the day to pick at leftover birdseed. She has figured out it's a safe and quiet time. As she sits and picks at the seed, one of the kids decides to lay on top of a sibling and have a little lunch courtesy moms milk. A very endearing day in the life moment.
