Nebst der weltweit bedeutendsten Klee-Sammlung warten hier vielfältige Angebote, Naherholung, eine attraktive Event-Location und vor allem eine lebendige Kulturszene. Bern Bundesstadt und UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, erhielt 2005 ein neues Wahrzeichen: das Zentrum Paul Klee. Die wellenartige Stahl- und Glas-Konstruktion des italienischen Stararchitekten Renzo Piano ist schon für sich einen Besuch wert.
Die drei geschwungenen Hügel des Bauwerkes und seine zarten Linien verschmelzen mit der umliegenden Landschaft. Umgeben von Feldern und einem großzügigen Park, lässt es sich hier wunderbar spazieren.
Wer entlang der Wege rund um das Zentrum Paul Klee schlendert, entdeckt immer wieder Strassenschilder mit kuriosen Namen. Insgesamt sind 18 Wege rund um das Gebäude nach Klees Meisterwerken benannt.
In 2005, the Italian star architect Renzo Piano built the iconic Paul Klee Centre on the outskirts of the federal city. In addition to the world's most important Klee collection, the centre offers a wide range of activities, local recreation, an attractive event location and, above all, a lively cultural scene.
