SLUMBERING AWAY
Viewed from the N. Kansas Expressway overpass on the NW side of Springfield, MO. on August 26th, eleven Burlington Northern Santa Fe diesels slumber awaiting their calls to duty. Models include, GP38-2, GP39-2, GP39-3, SD40-2, SD40-2R, a GP50 and a lone GE Dash-9-44CW. It would be fun to dig up the heritage of all these diesels, but I am getting ready to cut and bale hay, so that will have to await another day!
