What I like about this vintage SOO LINE image is the old code line running through the center of the picture. Common rail side until the turn of the century, these wires and poles are all but gone now. Both SOO LINE logo's are shown on these SD40-2's, the lead unit wearing the ill-fated new image. Passing through Winnebago East Junction near Winnebago, Wi on 04-04-1976, this train is east bound.
