Svalbard from the Air at Midnight

Aerial view of Svalbard, seen from a night flight from Oslo to Svalbard's main town Longyearbyen. At such high northern latitudes, the sun never sets in late May, so that this midnight scene (local time about 1 am) looks like a late afternoon.
