Haimida Beach with Flowers

Haimida Beach on the south coast of Iriomote Island (the largest of the Yaeyama Islands in the southwest of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan). The upper part of the beach is covered with flowering beach morning glory, a salt-tolerant plant whose seeds are dispersed by the ocean water.
